Off we go with good manners! Derech Eretz, (“the way of the world”). The family in this book is in a hurry to visit Grandpa Dov;
but despite their rush, they don’t forget their manners: they feed the cats, water the plants, make a gift for Grandpa, and stop for a family of ducks who want to cross the railway tracks; because even if we’re in a hurry, or if the way is long and stressful, we should always look around and be courteous, considerate, and caring toward others:
There is no wisdom like the wisdom of Derech Eretz
