Yael, the neighbor, keeps her home and heart wide open, with room for neighbors large and small. When hospitality comes from the heart, it leads her neighbors to host Yael just as generously and gladly. Like the tenants living in this Jerusalem building, we too can knock on our neighbors’ doors, and become better acquainted with the people living close by, in the spirit of the famous proverb:
Let your house be open wide
