Uri Kadori is a character from a charming, rhyming comic strip for children, published by prize-winning Israeli author Lea Goldberg in a children’s newspaper between the years 1937-1948. The adventures of Uri Kadori have been re-illustrated by one of Israel’s most prominent young comic strip artists, Ruto Modan, and are being published for the first time as a comic book for children, introducing a new generation of children to the rich oeuvre and ingenious language of one of Israel’s most important early poets.
